Mindful Photography & Cinema is a cultural intervention program that integrates photography and film into the healing and recovery process of patients at Prof. Dr. Angelescu Hospital in Bucharest. Over four months, 25 patients, family members, and healthcare staff took part in workshops, screenings, and creative courses designed to reduce anxiety, stimulate emotional expression, and promote psychological well-being.

This project is built on the idea that creative exploration, when guided mindfully, can become an essential part of recovery, reflection, and human connection.

The design employs a minimalist aesthetic, utilizing soft tones and balanced compositions to evoke a sense of calm and focus. Subtle imagery and thoughtful typography guide the viewer’s eye, encouraging a contemplative experience that mirrors the principles of mindful observation.
